Clarity, Steadiness and Discernment when life is most demanding
Our Financial Planning division serves individuals and families whose financial lives are complex, consequential, and deeply personal. We work with those who value clarity over urgency, depth over volume, and long-term stewardship over short-term movement.
Where Agile Securities focuses on disciplined portfolio management, Financial Planning focuses on the structure, timing, and human realities that surround capital. Together, the work is integrated. Individually, each discipline remains distinct.
The practice is led by Meagan Balaneski.

Clients who work with Meagan experience something uncommon: advice that is precise without being rigid, rigorous without being overwhelming, and attentive not only to financial structure, but to lived reality.

Understanding Before Action
At higher levels of wealth, planning is less about optimization and more about discernment — understanding what truly matters, what is necessary, and what can be set aside. Our work begins with careful listening. Financial structures are examined, risks are clarified, family dynamics are respected, and the timing of decisions is thoughtfully considered. From that foundation, recommendations are shaped with intention and restraint.
We emphasize:
- Clear understanding before action
- Thoughtful intention behind every recommendation
- Precision in analysis and documentation
- Careful pacing of decisions
- Alignment between means, outcomes, and values
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is done without purpose.
Complex and Layered Financial Lives
We specialize in planning for individuals and families whose circumstances require integration across many moving parts, including:
- Ultra-high-net-worth and multi-generational families
- Professionals and business owners with layered corporate structures
- Retirement income planning across multiple entities and time horizons
- Advanced tax coordination and estate efficiency
- Long-term planning where flexibility is as important as return
Each plan is built deliberately, with attention to what is essential and equal attention to what is not.
Estate and Legacy Planning
Estate planning at this level is not a single event, but an ongoing discipline. We help clients bring clarity and order to questions such as:
- How wealth should flow, and when it should remain still
- How responsibility is transferred alongside assets
- How future decisions can be made simpler, not heavier
- How to reduce friction, uncertainty, and unintended consequences
The objective is quiet confidence today and for those who follow.

Guidance During Transition
A defining focus of Meagan’s practice is supporting recent widows and widowers, often during periods when clarity feels most distant and the cost of poor advice is highest. This work requires steadiness and patience. Rather than forcing momentum, Meagan helps clients regain orientation — understanding what must be addressed now, what can wait, and what should remain untouched for the time being. Clients value:
- A calm, grounded presence during uncertainty
- Space to think clearly without pressure
- Protection from unnecessary risk and irreversible decisions
- Guidance that respects both emotional reality and financial responsibility
Decisions unfold gradually, at a pace that restores confidence and agency.
A Measured Practice
Clients often describe working with Meagan as quietly rigorous, clear without being directive, and deeply attentive. Advice is measured not by activity, but by appropriateness. Planning is not about controlling every outcome. It is about creating structure that reduces unnecessary friction and allows families to move forward with steadiness.
For those navigating complexity or seeking steadiness during transition we offer a confidential place to begin. Please contact us to arrange a private conversation with Meagan.
